Have you heard of Easter Monday? While not a federally recognized holiday, Easter Monday is traditionally the day of the famous Easter Egg Hunt and Egg Roll at The White House, the Presidential residence in Washington, DC. Sadly, not this year due to COVID-19 and social distancing.

Superstitious folks fear unlucky breaks on any Friday the Thirteenth. People who are afraid of the number 13 are considered triskaidekaphobic. Those specifically afraid of Friday the 13th are Paraskevidekatriaphobic.
It's believed the superstition originated from the story of Jesus' last supper and crucifixion in which there were 13 individuals present in the Upper Room on the 13th of Nisan Maundy Thursday, the night before Christ's death on Good Friday. 
It's possible Thomas W. Lawson's popular novel Friday, the Thirteenth of 1907 may have contributed to the fears. In it, an unscrupulous broker creates a Wall Street panic on a Friday the 13th.
