The question is "Are you working hard ... or hardly working?"
Do you know what “Work Like a Dog” means anyway?
While the origins of “Work Like a Dog Day” are unknown, most people would agree that “working like a dog” means moving forward with total focus, devotion and passion on the task at hand until it’s completed.
After the job is complete, then it’s time to play or rest-other activities dogs have arguably mastered. At least until it’s time for the next task.

Then it’s time to play or rest-other activities that dogs do well, too-and ones we'd be wise to emulate. 
How does one distinguish between “Working Like a Dog” and Being a Workaholic"?
