Social Media Day is Now Officially a Teenager!
Observed annually on June 30th, Social Media has changed how people interact, communicate, and share with family, friends, and the world.
Way back in the day, when Friendster launched in 2002 and Tom became one's first friend on MySpace in 2003, social media started popping up everywhere.
Facebook began in 2004 and soon eclipsed the other two. Then Twitter encouraged folks to "get to the point" by posting thoughts with 140 characters or less.
