Synchronicity...BioRhythms...Led by the Holy Spirit...in the Flow
By Michelle C. Carr-Crowe
Whether you call it Synchronicity, BioRhythms, being Led (or Filled) by the Holy Spirit, or just "in the Flow," each of us has occasionally had those "God Works in Mysterious Ways" moments.
Earlier this week I retrieved my Cadillac after undergoing some long-overdue repairs. When I looked at the main odometer, it read "88068.0" and the trip odometer read "1.1."
As I work in Silicon Valley, the multicultural hub of the universe, my brain immediately began interpreting this series of numbers in a variety of ways. Many of my Indian … (0 comments)

home: New Treats for Buyers-Congress Votes to Extend Higher Loan Limits Through 2010 - 10/30/09 06:10 AM
New Treats for Buyers
By voting to extend the temporarily raised Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA loan limits of $729,950 through 2010, Congress gave Buyers (and the U.S. economy which relies heavily on the housing industry) a great big treat. The present loan limits were set to expire at the end of 2009 and revert to previous lower limits of $417,000.
Now buyers are waiting expectantly for one more piece of good news-for the federal $8,000 tax credit to be extended in some form past the current expiration date of Nov. 30, 2009.
Due to extremely high costs of housing … (2 comments)

Where the Real Wild Things Are: New Bengal Tiger Cubs Almost Ready for Petting

In Silicon Valley, most people have gotten away not only from farming, but nature itself. San Jose, Saratoga and Cupertino were formerly home to orchards of apricots, cherries and plumbs. Chickens, pigs and goats were fairly common just a generation or two ago. Now we're out of touch and sometimes need to literally travel outside of our comfort zone to get in touch with nature and the wild.
If you've only have dreamed of petting a real live tiger cub, your opportunity is coming up!

Help Combat Hunger ... One Day at a Time ... One Child at a Time ...Today
Today, March 11, 2009, is Global Food Crisis Day. It's not a holiday. It's a call to action to recognize the current state of emergency in the lives of the world's poorest of the poor.
Most people are aware of how the dramatic changes in the U.S., Asian and global economy are affecting them personally-reducing many 401(k) and pension funds by fifty percent, dropping stock prices, softening property values, making credit more difficult to obtain and increasing fears about job security.
But what about how … (0 comments)

Why Buy a Home in Lynbrook, Cupertino, Palo Alto or Saratoga in 2009?
It's a great question, best answered by data and an area real estate expert. In today's market, Buyers always want to know two things: when is the best time to buy, and how to pay the lowest price. When you meet with an experienced real estate consultant like me or one of my skilled team members for a Buying Power Analysis, you learn about the market, market trends, yourself, your priorities, and your options, as well as your buying power in today's current market.

Why Home Values Remain Strong in Lynbrook and Cupertino School District Neighborhoods

By Michelle C. Carr-Crowe

Now that the recession is official, more people ask me whether I believe home and real estate values will remain stable in the Lynbrook and Cupertino School District Neighborhoods-or follow the downward slide experienced throughout the rest of Santa Clara County.

For more than 20 years, I and my team have worked with clients in real estate in the Lynbrook and the Cupertino School District Neighborhoods. While people here come from a variety of countries and cultures, they share strikingly … (0 comments)

Regardless of whether you voted for McCain or Obama, you, and everyone else in America, now face a new choice--embrace the change and be part of the solution or refuse to participate and complain about how bad everything is now in the country, world, etc.
So what's it gonna be?
There is now plenty of hard work ahead for everyone--and more to come soon.  Senator McCain gave all citizens an excellent example of grace, good sportmanship and gentlemanly conduct in his concession speech. "It has been my honor to serve my country," he said, while calling on the rest of us to pull together and … (0 comments)
