The weather outside may be frightful, but it can be perfect for eating ice cream, especially when one is savoring it on Ice Cream Day, December 13th.
What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?
My favorite at this time of year is Dryer's Peppermint Stick (only available in December) or Marianne's (formerly Treat) Ice Cream's Peppermint Fudge. It is a classic!
Dryer's Peppermint Stick is difficult to find although it's reputedly available in grocery stores. It is a Limited Edition, which means small batches that and sell out fast. Last year we only found it one time-at Lunardi's Markets in San Jose.

Cold weather can be perfect for eating ice cream, especially of savoring it on Ice Cream Day December 13th.
What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?
My favorite at this time of year is Dryer's Peppermint or local Willilow Glen business Treat Ice Cream's Peppermint Fudge available at Lunardi's Markets in San Jose. Both flavors are rich, smooth and delicious.
