Nine Newsworthy Notes That Occurred on January 9th By Michelle Carr Crowe, Silicon Valley real estate guide selling homes in San Jose For people who enjoy learning new things daily, here are Nine Newsworthy Notes That Occurred on January 9th. The Joan of Arc image and the events for today’s blog post are from Wikipedia. While these interesting items are intriguing, they have nothing to do with the real estate business of helping people buy and sell Silicon Valley homes in San Jose, Cupertino and Palo Alto. Six Interesting Things That Happened on September 24 By Michelle Carr Crowe, Silicon Valley guide and Cupertino real estate agent selling San Jose homes Some days are filled with important anniversaries and celebrations, others days, not so much. Here are Six Interesting Things That Happened on September 24. In pop culture, three different programs all debuted on September 24 in the 1960’s. The silly cartoon, “Rocky and Bullwinkle” first aired in 1961. Two seminal television shows premiered on this date in 1968: the stereotype-shattering undercover police drama, “The Mod Squad,” and the real-life in-depth news program, “60 Minutes.” The first (10 comments)

Agent Training for the 2016 Olympics By Michelle Carr Crowe, Silicon Valley real estate consultant and home selling expert Now that the 2012 Olympics are over, guess what? I hope you find this holiday season filled with peace and joy...Merry Christmas. (2 comments)

Tinkerbell? Jack Sparrow? Spider-Man? Iron Man? Among children, the four I just mentioned were seen at least three times each last night - Tinkerbell, Jack Sparrow (or a pirate variation), Spider-Man and Iron Man. There were the usual "Scream" and Ninja costumes always popular with the less-than-imaginative pre-teen set. One boy dressed like, well, a regular boy, told me he was "the kid you never wanted."
