We had a meeting in the University Village, Seattle. September is shaping up to be a very interesting month and the Fall calendar is filling up fast. This morning Barbie Van Horn and I were doing a last walk through for our Mobile Communications Boot Camp clock hour class, aka #mobilecomcamp ... There’s always new tweaks, updates, and changes to embrace in social media marketing.
As we canvassed the urban village I had to stop at one of my favorite stores, Ravenna Gardens, and take in their end of summer and fall flowers. They had a wonderful selection of Gerbera, Supreme Elegance … (24 comments)

fall: Photo Friday: Who Say's the Friday Evening Commute Can't Be Fun? - 10/12/12 12:54 PM
Today it’s definitely Fall and our lingering summer weather said goodbye. I’m headed home this evening up Benson Highway after work. Little did I know there was a fun little surprise waiting.

Traffic was really heavy this evening and it took about 3 lights to get to the intersection of SE 240th, but I wasn't complaining. It was unavoidable not to see the road side marketing going on. This young lady must be on a drill team or in gymnastics. She was so much fun, very engaging, and put on a wonderful spirited performance for us all.

Up and at 'em, Rise and Shine! September 1, 2012... Saturday, Labor Day weekend.
Funny how certain seasons beg us to reflect on our lives in different ways. After all these years September still pulls me towards memories of school when the last lazy days of summer cross over to autumn with a different routine.
I remember the pear tree out front of our home in Earlington. They're ripe and begin to fall. The yellow jackets love them and the air is abuzz while they harvest the sweet succulent fruit before winters long sleep. Mom will pickle some yellow and green … (17 comments)
