It comes up on occasion and kinda smacked me this past week. ;O) I’ve been all over the Puget Sound area all week from Seattle to Bellingham and busy enough that every time I took a minute to think about my next blog post, my brain was a total blank. Well duh... Like I haven’t heard it before... “Life’s talking at you every waking minute of every day. Why not post what people actually ask you about.” I know, I know, obvious right? 10 totally random things you probably didn’t know about me... 1. In 2002 then 2004 I had total hip replacement surgeries. I’m eternally grateful for modern medicine everyday. Otherwise, I’d be in a wheelchair. Happy to report I can still tear up a dance floor! I tell my kids, “I am your inheritance!” When I kick the bucket cash me in! There’s a whole lot a titanium here and it’s worth a bunch! 2. Rob Porter and I were talking with our CTO Tim Daniels the other day. Rob had recently written a blog post on our Talonnw.com site: How to file a claim against a title insurance policy. A few of my good bud's here on Active Rain are harassing me about my lack of posts lately. So I thought I'd chime in and give an update... As many of you know, I joined The Talon Group a few months ago. This operation is headquartered in Bellevue, Washington with offices in King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties (my home turf)... I was reminiscing yesterday about a couple of great guys I use to work with, John Wickwire and Hung Nguyen. Even though they came from opposite sides of the planet they shared many similar traits and values. John grew up in Ephrata and the Moses Lake area of eastern Washington. The son of a Judge, he had a passion for the law. John served in Vietnam and attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, and the University of Washington, in Seattle.
