turnkeyflyerscom: How to direct FB comments to your PAGE! - 04/15/13 12:18 PM
Facebook has a little known setting called "Use Facebook as...", which I'm noticing many agents are not taking advantage of.
If you comment, like, or interact on Facebook your profile is linked. When people want to learn more about you, chances are they end up on your "personal" profile rather than your "business page." This is because you are using Facebook as [Your Personal Profile], however, you can change this setting and get more people directed to your Business Page with one simple click. Here's how to do it:

Open the Admin Panel in your Business Page. Then select Manage. … (118 comments)

Want better marketing results?

Could it be that your marketing is missing the mark because you have been misled by the competition in the media as to what today’s home buyers really care about the most?
There is a ton of talk on the web about walkability going on, and many Realtors have taken advice on this, only to completely water down their marketing efforts and focus on serving up information on everything from the best pizza joints to where to get the cheapest beer in town instead of … (0 comments)

Do you remember those kids at school...you know - the one's that always seemed excel at almost everything they did.
They did well in school, they were the first pick of all the games...they kicked home-runs in kickball, made the game winning points in basketball...pitched the last strike to win the baseball game.
Perhaps you didn't envy them...but you at one point wished you could have that "leg up on the competition" at least once in a while.
Well...We Have Great News!!!What if you could have that right now for your Real Estate Business and Your Next Open House - … (13 comments)

turnkeyflyerscom: What a jellyfish taught me about motivation - 09/18/12 06:28 AM

Some time back, I visited an aquarium and came across jellyfish swimming elegantly in a tiny tank. A sign below the tank said,
"The jellyfish has no brain, no spine and no blood."
Hm... How can a brainless and spineless creature move about, sense danger and catch its prey?
I went home and googled it. Apparently, it has some sort of "nerve net" that senses environmental stimuli. But still, it has no brain?Once again, our planet Earth and all life that it encompasses amaze me. When we are often only focused on our daily grind and its frustrations, it is … (11 comments)

turnkeyflyerscom: What In The World Did CAPTCHA Say? - 05/24/12 05:08 AM
These CAPTCHA things are starting to get on my nerves! At first, they were legible and not a big issue; but now, they've  gotten to a whole other level.
For those of you that don't know what CAPTCHA is, it's a type of spam security system to prevent automated computers from sending you emails or spam posting on AR and other sites. CAPTCHA stands for "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart". Developed by a team of geeks at the world famous Carneige Mellon University (Wikipedia source in case you wanted to know. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAPTCHA).
So how is … (4 comments)

turnkeyflyerscom: Remembering How To Sell - 05/15/12 02:02 AM
Like any skill or craft I've always found it helpful to remind myself and practice the basics. Juggling 1000 things at once I've found myself cutting corners, especially in my sales and marketing process... months go by and I wonder why business isn't as good as it used to be last year???
"Oh, well it's because of the economy..." <-- it's only an excuse!
Corner cutting starts with simply not "smiling" when on the phone or in person, then it moves into skipping the simple sales or presentation steps when previewing properties or during listing presentations. Cutting corners is cutting your … (2 comments)

turnkeyflyerscom: Three Ways To Decrease Your Home's Value - 05/09/12 05:25 PM
Most of us have a good understanding about what increases a homes value; but what if we flipped the question and asked "What things cause a home to LOOSE value?" Here are three ways that may decrease the offer value on a home.

1. POOL. Contrary to popular belief, installing a pool limits your buyer pool. Not everyone finds pools a benefit; in fact, they can sometimes be seen a liabilities. Buyers automatically start calculating the cost of upkeep: maintenance on equipment, increase in electricity and heating bills, and lastly repairs.

turnkeyflyerscom: Social Media... What A Waste - 02/03/12 11:03 AM
One of the biggest grippes I’ve been hearing at the local NAR meets is what a waste Facebook, Twitter, and all the other Social Media efforts are in capturing leads and additional business.
Coincidentally, I somewhat agree!
Facebook, Twitter, and ActiveRain (let’s just lump them as Social Media or SM) are virtual extensions of YOU.
Think of your personal/business website and how much effort you put into it to represent you, your style of business, and you level of professionalism and service you provide to your clients. When people visit your site, they get a sense of who you … (1 comments)

turnkeyflyerscom: BECOME A KEYBOARD SNAKE CHARMER - 01/17/12 06:53 AM

I used to sit in awe watching the IT people blaze through my computer, rifle through the files, and manipulate the web like an Indian Snake Charmer. Speed and efficiency is the name of the game. The secret to their success is their ability to use "Shortcuts." If you play close enough attention, you'll see they don't touch the mouse often. In fact, Deep, an IT master guru at my office, flips the mouse up-side-down and relies solely on the keyboard shortcuts. It takes years of practice to perfect shortcuts but understanding a few basic shortcut commands can help … (2 comments)
