Home sales year-to-date also declined to 80 closed transactions, down nearly 7% from the 86 recorded sales during the same period a year ago. August sales volume fell year over year, declining nearly 39% from $10.885 million in 2014 to $6.630 this year. Year-to-date dollar volume was off 14.76% year over year, falling from $39.687 million to $33.828 million through August 2015.
