WOLFEBORO, NH Real Estate | Home Sales Report: Q2-2016 - Wolfeboro 2nd quarter home sales declined 8% year over year on 35 transactions with a sales volume of $17.7 million, virtually unchanged from the same period last year. Year-to-date, meanwhile, Wolfeboro home sales managed to stay in the black, up 3% from a year ago with 61 closed transactions compared to 59 last year. Sales volume for the year ending June 30 was up 14% to $28.7 million. The median price of a Wolfeboro home rose 19% in the 2nd quarter to $270,000 against a sales average of $505,000. Home sales year-to-date were up a whopping 54% with 83 closed transactions compared to 54 during the same period a year ago. August dollar sales volume fell year over year, declining nearly 46% from $5.332 million last year to $2.896 million. For the year, however, dollar volume rose with increased sales, up 35.4% to $39.920 million.
