The Maryland House of Delegates is holding a hearing TODAY (3/14/07) on HB 448 -Sales and Use Tax on Services HB 448 imposes the sales tax on a long list ofservices including real property management services, business brokerages, cable television, vehicle repairs, engineering service, tax preparation service, employment and temporary help agencies, management and business consulting services, and others. This bill is very similar to HB 1364 of 2004, which was heard in Ways & Means but no action was taken.
