realtor code of ethics: You've just been promoted to the CEO of NAR! Now what? - 06/10/18 05:22 PM
Okay, so it's been absolutely AGES since I've participated in any contests here on AR. But because I have a longstanding love & respect for Debe Maxwell, CRS, and the fact that I've been an NAR member for the past 20 years, I thought I would chime in.
If nothing else, the recent 'Logo-Gate' revealed a serious disconnect between NAR leadership and what appears to be the majority (or at least, rather vocal) rank & file within our association.

realtor code of ethics: Realtor® Code of Ethics vs. Facebook TOS - 11/28/15 04:22 AM
What do the Realtor® Code of Ethics and the Facebook Terms of Service have in common?
People agree to them both, but they very rarely read either one.

Let's face it, how many times have you signed up for something, especially here online, and quickly scrolled through the lengthy "Terms of Agreement," and simply checked the box at the end?

Realtor® Code of Ethics Reloaded
This article signals the adventurous and daunting launch of an in-depth series concerning the Realtor® Code of Ethics. The recently released 2015 NAR Membership Survey revealed that association members place a significant amount of importance and value on the Realtor® Code of Ethics. Unfortunately, while most members willingly agree to abide by the Code of Ethics, very few truly understand their full meaning and the resultant impact they should have on their daily conduct and actions. My goal in writing this series is to dissect and define the major articles of the COE, and to explain their … (9 comments)

realtor code of ethics: What's the Cost of Your Integrity? - 05/10/09 01:05 PM

It was a position of great privilege, prestige, and status. It afforded a double portion of the Father's inheritance. And, prior to the Levitical Era, assigned the responsibility of family Priesthood. And so it is with … (89 comments)
