I just got a great bit of news that all of those familiar with VA foreclosures will love to hear. VENDEE FINANCING IS BACK!!! One of the biggest changes you will notice is that the seller (VA) can now contribute up to 6% of the sales price toward buyers closing costs. This is HUGE!! If you work with investors and you are not showing them how to use vendee financing to purchase VA foreclosed homes, you are missing a great opportunity. Think of vendee financing as owner financing. Hello out there, everyone. I just wanted to float this out there and see if any of you have heard any news. For those of you familiar with VA foreclosures, you know that prior to Countrywide taking over, VA vendee financing was one of the greatest tools available to get these properties sold...especially to investor buyers. Today I heard that VA is bringing back vendee financing. Have any of you heard the same thing? What I heard was that it will be on certain properties in the beginning.
