goals: A New Day - To Invent Your Future - 03/18/17 02:07 PM

Happy New Day My Friends

Did you ever have a dream or a goal and you say to someone, "here's what I'm going to do," and they say to you. "Oh yeah, how are you going to do that?"

You don't know how you're going to do it. But you don't let that stop you and you go ahead anyway. Intuitively you just know that sometimes not knowing the "how tos" of something means you are open to all possibilities.

You are not sure, but you will remain positive and you will be looking for opportunities. You will be opening your subconscious … (11 comments)

goals: A New Day _ A New Year - 01/01/17 04:59 AM

Happy New Year My Friends

As you set goals for 2017, Remember Proverbs 16:3
"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed."

This New Year is yours, what will you do with it?

In 2017 I will do all I can to live in the moment.

In 2017 I will surround myself with people who inspire me.

In 2017 I will be very careful about what I'm thinking. I will remember that my thoughts run my life.

In 2017 I won't take everything so seriously.

In 2017 I will choose happiness instead of chasing it.

In 2017 I will take responsibility for my own … (1 comments)

goals: Goal Setting Turns Being Busy Into Being Productive - 12/01/14 01:51 AM

I have a question for you? How busy are you these days? Now, here's another question...  How productive are you these days?
As most of us know, the two just aren't the same. All too often, being busy may have nothing at all to do with being productive.
Most of us spend our days, often very long days, in a flurry of activity. But, when the day or week is over, we're disappointed at the level of our accomplishment.
Our disappointment creates stress and we push ourselves even harder to "get more done." But pushing hard isn't … (7 comments)

goals: Is it better to wish upon a star or go for the goal - 01/28/14 02:01 AM

Is it better to wish upon a star or go for the goal ?
Before answering that question lets take a look at how a goal differs from a wish?  First of all, let's look at how they are similar. Each one is a good thing to have, and each concerns something we'd like to see happen in the future.
A wish is something we long for, like children wishing on a star or a birthday wish when we blow out the candles on a cake. But it is not likely to be something we think about very much. And, … (13 comments)

goals: No thank you it's not good for my body - 01/26/14 09:33 PM
The January Cloud Burst asked that we set a business goal. I have always been a goal setter and I always advise everyone I train to set goals. In fact I'm a big proponent of goal setting.
So I thought that this part of the contest would be a breeze for me. That was until I gave it some serious thought. I mean I've been doing this for all the years I've been in the business, 35 years in June. No big deal right?  But as I sat down to write my goals this year one thing became my most important … (30 comments)

goals: Eight Goal Setting Success Tips - 11/25/13 02:41 AM

Eight Goal Setting Success Tips
 1.      Write down your goals and keep them in a place where you can see them all the time.  I like to write them as affirmations and look at them in the morning and again in the evening.
   Examples:
   a. I am a successful realtor. I sell 12 houses a year and I enjoy doing so.
    b.  I spend 20 hours a week doing the most productive things a realtor can  do and this enables me to sell 12 houses a year.  I am thankful that I can do so much with so little effort
    c.   I … (8 comments)

goals: Remember the longest journey begins with one step - 07/04/12 10:29 PM

Each New Day gives us opportunity to embark on a New Journey.  We can plan the journey we want to take for each New Day we are given by setting goals for that day or we can have each New Day take us where it wants us to go.

The best business tip I can give anyone is to have goals. Planning prevents wandering and provides direction. If you plan your work you will not find yourself on the street corner wondering where to go next. John Patterson"Goals are the road map that will direct you to success. But … (6 comments)

goals: Check out this site - Accompl.sh - 06/20/12 09:59 PM

“If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things,” Albert Einstein. “Always do what you are afraid to do.”  Ralph Waldo Emerson “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”  Winston Churchill  BRILLIANT! There is nothing more rewarding than making a task list in the morning and checking off menial tasks, but our life goals often go ignored because they’re not front and center.  Moreover, how do you hold yourself accountable and challenged to meet your bigger life goals? All of these questions … (5 comments)
