One of the events is the "Empty Bowls Hunger Benefit" which will occur on Oct. 11th this year. Helping "Highlands Community Ministries" feed the hungry.A light, delicious meal of soup in a handcrafted potter's bowl with bread, cheese and fruit. Plus, a silent auction of varying gift baskets created by HCM member churches along with items from Highlands Businesses. $25 for meal and potter's bowl, $10 meal only, $5 children 12 and under.Advanced RSVPs and payment are accepted to ensure you can obtain a Potter's Bowl. Yes I spelled it correctly. I am going back a couple of weeks ago to the hail storm that hit our area of Louisville (pronounced Lua-Vulcan-Ducky), Fern Creek, Buechel (pronounced B-U-Chill), and Smyrna (pronounced Smyrna). LOL on the last one. Anyway it was just coming to dusk and the wind started to pick-up some and it started to rain, first South to North then North to South. My wife and I were sitting at the table enjoying a beverage, after she had worked all day planting plants and cleaning up the back yard while yes I was out showing homes and (1 comments)
louisville: How I got into Real Estate.

Now that is a great subject. Considering I have done so many things in my life, where do I start? OK so when I got out of the service in 1975 I was offered a chance to go into real estate but turned it down. Move forward to 1990 when I met my wife and decided to go into business in marketing and eventially web design. Then the big bomb hit for technology at the first of the 2000's and we just kept on going, not knowing that our once highly profitable and well known business was doomed to start failing.
