Douglas Park / New Arlington: Douglas Park, also spelled Douglass Park, encompasses another neighborhood, "New Arlington." Built in the 1920s, Douglas Park features many colonial-revival style homes. Also popular are bungalows and ranchers (ramblers). Douglas Park is convenient to Washington, DC, North Arlington, and Interstate 395 / 95 which leads south to other parts of Northern Virginia.
