What welcome news! Over the last few years there have been many restrictions that have prohibited condo sales for so many. It’s about time these decisions were made and many more should be added.
All these restrictions have hurt the value of condominiums in this country. Many of these restrictions have supposedly been put on for the best interest of the consumer. The problem, I have no clue as to what they are trying to protect the consumer from.

I read this a couple of times to make sure that I was reading the proposal correctly. No loan officer, worth their salt, will want to do a loan for borrowers that don’t qualify for a mortgage. As a result of the Dodd-Frank Act, that is now law, created by the CFPB, to protect the best interest of the consumer. Consumers are also folks that in fact do qualify for mortgages. More and more the Congress and Senate are realizing how damaging this legislation is to our economy. The restrictions that are placed on all business, continues to impede any possibility for growth.
The sales job, that was told to this country, “It is in the best interest of the consumer”. If this legislation is in the best interest of the consumer, this is a total misuse of power.
