On Feb. 12th we sponsored a real estate forum. It was not a buyer or seller typical real estate presentation.We wanted to address the issues of short sales, financing and home values all in one forum
Scott Stevenson, attorney for North west title had his short sale presentation and his prediction for 2009-2010 foreclosures.
Jamie Sutton of Wells Fargo mortgage spoke abut current financing conditions.  She handled some tough questions from some of the attendees. I spoke a little about current financing programs from the state of Ohio and displayed a trend line CMA.

clintonville: DO THE 1ST TIME BUYERS IN YOUR AREA UNDERSTAND THE $8,000 TAX CREDIT? - 02/16/09 11:03 PM
We saw lots of confusion and lack of interest in the existing $7,500 tax credit. I put it on fliers, in MLS, on my web site and in my farming letters.
 
Now we have an $8,000 credit with NO repayment. We need as an industry to get the word out LOUD and CLEAR!! Yes, I know we are disappointed on the lack of the $15,000 credit but we need to get the word out on this one!

clintonville: LEFT-HAND TURN DECESION DIVIDES CLINTONVILLE - 01/21/09 10:59 PM
City of Columbus officials have proposed adding a left hand turn lane for west bound traffic at the intersection at High and Broadway. Broadway residents say this plan to allow the left hand turn on their street will be a step towards making the street a five-lane high way nightmare.  Residents from near by streets say those driving west on North Broadway use their street as a short cut to make the south bound turn onto High street.
