Calef's Country Store is situated smack dab in the heart of Barrington, NH. Visiting Calef's is like stepping back in time. Calef's is a quintessential New England country store. Many years have come and gone since it opened but not too much has changed since it was established in 1869. Here you will find Good people, good service and even better food! Everything from home made breads to several cheeses, various baked goodies, jams, jellies & relishes etc. There is even old-fashioned penny candy. In an article published in today's Fosters Daily Democrat (a Seacoast NH newspaper), the chief of police for Farmington NH wants to work to improve the quality of life for local residence by implementing a program that will have the town working closely with local landlords with the goal of improving the overall quality of life for the in-town area of Farmington, NH. Simply put, HECK NO, especially if the home is not already built. Even if the home is built, there are still things to consider over and above buying a pre-existing home. Some of these things are what type of warranty program is offered, how does one go about reporting a warranty issue and more importantly, how is a claim handled by the seller/builder. Another important thing to consider is making an offer and how to maximize the NH home buyer's investment. It's certainly a funny time in Seacoast NH Real Estate. If you are a NH home buyer, then you are almost experiencing information overload with all the choices you have for buying a home.
