Living on the Space Coast and working in Cape Canaveral getting away for a long weekend does not have to be difficult. Our choices in Florida are numerous. So, we decided to take a long weekend to Sarasota, Lido Beach.
A three hour drive from our home, we arrived in the mid-afternoon and got our barrings. We checked out the hotel and the amenities. Sat on the beach as we waited for our room. Determined the walking distance to St. Armands Circle and later settled in our room.
