   The Rockport real estate market continues to be hyperlocal 
 Just  the facts....
Last year sales totaled 14 single family homes.....Sales ranged from $88,000- $975,000Sold/List % averaged 92.24%$$ per square foot averaged $126.03The average days on the market 223This year sales totaled  22 single family homes...Sales ranged from $68,000 - $655,000Sold/Listed %  averaged 91.44%$$ per square foot averaged $138.68The average days on the market 192 There were more homes sold in 2011 > 2010 and the Sold/Listed % was slightly higher in 2011...  the $$$$ per square foot rose a little more than $10.00 per square foot....overall the median price came in at $110.00 per square … (0 comments)

What a month... May came and went...and despite some of the markets that did not fare well....The  ROCKPORT  MARKET did GREAT... (as reported in the MLS)Just the facts....Last year sales totaled 22 single family homes.....Sales ranged from $55,000 - $525,000Sold/List % averaged 91.72%$$ per square foot averaged $113.67The average days on the market 143This year sales totaled  22 single family homes...Sales ranged from $34,913 - $760,000Sold/Listed %  averaged 90.65%$$ per square foot averaged $140.98The average days on the market 265Sellers held on to the asking price.... took a bit longer but overall theMARKET VALUE of their home was almost $27 per square foot better than in 2010.Buyers waited a bit longer to make a decision … (0 comments)
