learning: Reading notes - 07/05/21 04:19 PM
I had a phenomenal experience in 1998 that changed my life forever. It was a seminar and what I gained from there totally transformed me. It made me a different person. And still, I see now that there was a problem.

The seminar was geared towards bringing out the very best of what I was capable of being and doing. It transformed the way I thought and the way I perceived the world. The empowering way that I saw the world improved my results. It made me into a better person. In many areas of my life.

learning: Cost of learning - 04/06/21 05:43 PM
Lately I have pondered ways to increase the learning potential. Having at one point been measured with an IQ around 175 in the 3rd grade, I have learned a lot (and forgotten a bit) along the way. Lately I think I have found something to increase how well we learn something.

One day a funnt thing occurred to me.. I found a key to my success that I thought I couldn't use in today's market is actually something I can use for a different market segment. Something I had relegated to strictly “over there”, I found could actually be used “right here”
It's like the "Karate Kid" movies. In the original movie, Mr. Miyagi has Daniel wax his cars, sand his floors, and paint his fence. He has him do this for days on end. Finally Daniel snaps and yells at Miyagi telling him he agreed to teach Daniel how to do Karate, … (10 comments)
