It is often only in hindsight will we truly understand if it is a good day or a bad day that we are in. You may think it was bad, but it led to something great. Or you may think it was good and yet it led to something horrible.
 
In patience and time, we will recognize it all.

Recently, I was talking to a woman in great distress. She thought she was a bad Christian and was not worthy of being baptized. When I asked her why, she stated that she hadn’t become a perfect Christian yet. This statement made me ponder. Have we done such a poor job in explaining Christianity that some people think they can’t find salvation?

There is a story about a farmer we used to teach in the seminars. See if you can figure out the reason for having the students learn this.
Once upon a time there was a farmer. He had a horse he used to pull his plow through the fields that he would farm. One day that horse ran away. The townspeople came by and they said, “Gee, that’s bad news.” The farmer said, “Good news, bad news, who knows?”. Three days later his horse returned with three strong mares.
