The reopening comes 6 months after the severe flooding in Nashville forced the resort's sudden closure last May.  The extensive flooings left parts of the hotel under 10 feet of water.  The hotel spent $270 million on its renovation.
Flooding also forced the closure of the Grand Ole Opry House.  The Opry reopened on September 28th after its restoration was complete.
