The Cumberland City Ferry is one on four remaining ferries in Tennessee. The ferry is located on the Cumberland River in Cumberland City. It connects Tennessee Hwy 233 just outside the TVA Power plant to in Stewart County to US Hwy 79 in Montgomery County.
Rates are very reasonalble as well. You can get a monthly pass for on $25 or pay per crossing. Rates are below.

Today Hemlock Semiconductor Corp. announced that they are coming to Clarksville, Tennessee during the news conference held at the APSU Music & Mass Communications Performance Theatre. The room was filled with news media, special guest and of course Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredison and staff and many others. The announcement came just after 3:00 PM when President of HSC Rick Doornbos confirmed that they are here and ready to start construction As Soon As Possible with a initial investment of 1.2 Billion Dollars and creating 500 permanent jobs in the area.
