Did you know that loan pre-approval and loan pre-qualification are different? Loan pre-approval is simply based on financial information without verification. Being pre-qualified is a much stronger position to have when negotiating for a home. If a seller sees that you are pre-qualified they know you are a ready, willing and able buyer. Being pre-qualified also saves emotional stress by knowing your loan is approved earlier in the home buying process and eliminates looking a homes that you may not qualify for.
