Right now per MLS there are 824 short sales in Summerlin Las Vegas and local areas surrounding Summerlin. Starting at $2,495.000 and less. Short sales have taken over the Las Vegas valley, even Pahrump is feeling the short sale movement. Don't you wonder when where all these people are moving to? I do, I've sat in a U-Haul storage store for about 1 hour a couple of weeks ago. So most people are very happy to arrive in Las Vegas. I know that when my friends and family have anything related to a special event coming up they will bring their party from anyway in the US to Vegas. When I first moved here I was picking up friends and family at the airport every week/weekend. it was insane. Let's see SUNSHINE,, SUNSHINE and more SUNSHINE. It's now spring and spring is in the air. Currently the streets are a little less congested because it's Spring break. I'm not sure where everyone left to vacation perhaps many of them are just staying at home enjoying being home. Las Vegas is situated in such a wonderful area of the United States, You can travel four hours and you'll be at the Beach in California or you can head toward Utah for a quick get away, it's only a few hours away. So now that we have a new President sworn in I along with many other American's are hoping for wonderful things to happen to the housing market. Nevada in general has been hit really hard with the foreclosure problem along with California, Arizona and Florida. The experts are saying we have 20k foreclosures for the banks to release soon (that's just in Las Vegas), that's in addition to what we already have listed on the market.
