i guess just the standard fun that Las Vegas has to offer. All the nightlife, free stuff, restaurants, people watching, movies, gaming, rides. It doesn't seem like there is anything special planned for the Labor Day weekend. There are a lot of good deals right now. Room rates are low and it's the end of summer, so come join the fun Las Vegas has to offer. The temperature should be great, probably around 100. Have a great time while you're here. Really how many days do you need to see all of Las Vegas? Well it used to be years ago you could fly in for the weekend and cover most casinos. I'm talking 30 years ago or so. NOW, it takes forever. There are so many casinos and they are so large with some many shows and entertainment that there is just no way you can cover the Las Vegas strip in a weekend. Besides the casinos, there is Red Rock where you can go hiking or drive through. Mount Charleston is just a 40 minute drive from the strip. Downtown … (1 comments)

Buzz, buzz, everyons is talking about what's happening in Las Vegas and the housing market. Many people move here becasue of the weather. Unemployment is very high right now, but prices of homes are so low that people are purchasing anyway. Most rentals are more expensive than to purchase a home. So if you're going to live here you might as well buy, why rent? The most popular price of homes selling as of right now are 100k or less. Yes, just when we as parents of adult children think we are empty nesters we find out WRONG... Your young adult children may and are moving back because of credit issues. They can't sell their homes for what they're worth so they sell payoff the debt while living with mom and dad. then in a couple of years they will buy again. why are they called short sales when they take so long? don't you think they should be called LONG Sales... :0)) seriously, anyone who is dealing with the banks and waiting to hear back whether their offer will be accepted has to have PATIENCE..... in Las Vegas we have so many short sales now it's disgusting. Many of my clients are saying the heck with it let's by the RESALES... right on. I love that. they are going to get into their new place within a month or so and get on with their lives. Thank goodness cool weather is coming. I love the heat of summer in Las Vegas--- this year was a little different. Because most of the homes are in foreclosure and the "power" isn't on even though many agents would say in the MLS that the power was on.. (still don't understand that one). Let's just say driving to properties when it's 110 degrees out and unlocking the front door of a home that states on the temostat it's all of 100 degrees inside. It was kind of rough.
