culture: FUN is part of our culture!

As a continuation of my previous posts on "Culture", we believe that work and play and life in general should be FUN! Here's how we embody this point of culture: "I view my life as a journey to be enjoyed and appreciated and I create an atmosphere of fun and happiness so all around me enjoy it as well." Most people know that fun and productivity are closely related. If work is a drag, use the "Q" word and find something else. You will enjoy life more...and your clients will love you and your business more...if there's a component of FUN … (0 comments)

The last blog post I wrote about "culture" was about BALANCE. Interesting idea during the holidays, isn't it? How well do we balance work, family, religion, personal development, etc. around the holidays? It seems like a lot of folks sort of hybernate during the end of the year. But isn't everyday as important as the next? Does the calendar dictate what is important...or is every day a chance to balance our business, personal and family lives. Team Work ROCKS! Is team work part of your culture? Can you even have team work if you're a solo practitioner or an independent agent? I say YES. Team work to me is a not just about your business team...it's about alliances, cooperatives, networking groups, mentors and others who enrich my life and enhance my business. I'm fortunate to be able to call upon friends and peers to coach me when I need the help (not being afraid to ask is sort of important there). The importance of EDUCATION is in taking action! (Yeah, "I know...") What moves you and your business? In my business coaching firm we have well defined points of culture that guide the company and the coaches...and they're spot on for quality, accuracy and results! CULTURE really does matter. What is your business's culture? If the owner hasn't set it, have the employees? Is the culture best for business, or is it an accident? My business coaching firm has well defined points of culture that guide the company and the coaches...and they're spot on for quality, accuracy and results!
