For those who live in or plan to travel to North Georgia in April, plan to attend Jasper ArtFest in Jasper, Georgia on April 21-22. This is a juried art show and sale, and also features performing arts, Art of the Auto (antique cars and trucks), childrens art activities, the Kudzu Kreation, mountain craft demonstrations, and the Optimist Club Flapjack Run (5K) for charity, and great food. For those living or planning to travel to North Georgia, make plans to see Gibbs Gardens in Ball Ground, GA. Gibbs Gardens just opened on March 1, and is the culmination of 40 years of planning and hard work. Southern Living voted it the best daffodil garden in the country.
