In less than a week new laws go into effect that affect owners of homes built prior to 1976. Beginning on April 22nd, 2010, any remodelling on these homes must be done by a contractor certified to work on homes with lead bsed paint. There are not enough contractors available to meet the demand so there will be delays for homeowners unless Congress extends the deadline. What a week ! ! The stock market is down. The stock market is up. The stock market is very confused and doesn't know what to do. In the real estate world, there is a lot going on. Every time I turn on the six o'clock bad news there is a lot of noise about real estate and mortgages. Some of the noise is good and some is not so good.
