According to data provided by the U.S. Census Bureau the average number of people occupying a house in the United States in 1850 was just over 5 people.
Over the years that average number of people occupying a house has steadily declined.
Even during the baby boom, that number was significantly lower at an average of 3.36 people per house as compared to the over 5 average of 1850.
Nevertheless, even with declining numbers, if we stopped with these numbers, then we could see how the idea that it is difficult to sell a 2 bedroom … (3 comments)
