Rosie the Riveter is a cultural American icon that represents the women who went to work in munitions while the men went off to fight in WWII.  One of those Rosie's was Rose Bonavita.  She was said to have drilled drilled 900 holes and placed 3,300 rivets in an airplane tail end within six hours at the former General Motors Eastern Aircraft Division in North Tarrytown... and she was incredibly proud to do this work.
