April 30, 2019 -- Development means change. Changes in traffic, density, noise, loss of green space, and it also brings more economic opportunities to the local area. However, local residents don't like change, developers promote it, and economic growth demands it. Smart Growth and Miami 21Miami is a city that depends on tourism and real estate. Yet, even with our "smart growth" inspired Miami 21 zoning code, we feel overwhelmed with the number of large scale developments in our urban core.
