empire state building: UP UP AND AWAY

I have been up up and away on a hot air balloon ride and that was fantastic, but have you ever been up to the top of the EMPIRE STATE BUILDING? It is spectacular. When we arrived the screen was flashing a 75 minute wait. Oh my gosh.....my elderly mother, my niece's husband on crutches, my niece, her four year old daughter and my sister and myself wanted so bad to go but we had already put in a full day and we were exhausted! But before we knew it (because of the crutches) we were escorted up the back elevators … (25 comments)

Last Thursday evening I spent the night in Bakersfield, CA. Friday morning I arrived at the Airport & departed on United with my Mom and my sister. We landed in San Francisco & changed planes headed to Newark. My niece and family live in Jersey City out on a pier over looking the Hudson River. Isn't that a gorgeous site? I actually exercised from the top floor of the apartment building over looking the Hudson River. It was breathtaking. We had two full days of site seeing. I have sooo many pictures that I will have to blog several times to show … (8 comments)
