Days of Remembrance in Gaithersburg, Maryland April 28 - May 5, 2019

Days of Remembrance is an annual eight day period designated by the U.S. Congress to help Americans remember and draw lessons from the Holocaust. On April 15, Mayor Jud Ashman designated April 28 through May 5 as "Days of Remembrance" in the City of Gaithersburg. The official proclamation was presented to Michael Weisel, Men's Club President at Shaare Torah. Each year the club organizes Holocaust remembrance projects for the synagogue community.
