VACANT FORECLOSURES BRING NEIGHBORHOOD PROBLEMS
We received a call from a home owner in Montgomery County, Maryland, in the suburbs of Washington DC. She says there a vacant home on her street that was scheduled for a foreclosure sale. The problem is that the yard has not been maintained and the property is very unattractive. She wanted to know how to contact the lender to complain about the condition and ask someone to come to cut the grass and clean up the mess.

This Plan makes recommendations for land use, zoning, urban design, transportation, environment, and community facilities.
he Plan includes the Life Sciences Center as well as the residential neighborhoods of Quince Orchard and several areas that are completely, or nearly completely,
surrounded by the City of Gaithersburg.
