I recommend the site and suggest it for those that are seeking any easy way to edit their photographs. By the way, ALL photographs should be edited before placing them on the internet. This gazania was photographed in our home garden in Kentlands, our neighborhood in Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878. These small flowers are very colorful and are fun to photograph. One of the benefits is that they are easy to grow. You may wish to plant a few gazanias in your garden or planter.
Gazania species are grown for the brilliant color of their flowerheads which appear in the late spring and are often in bloom throughout the summer into autumn. They prefer a sunny position and are tolerant of dryness and poor soils. - Wikipedia

Kentlands is a planned neo-traditional community located within the City of Gaithersburg in the heart of Montgomery County, Maryland 20878. This is a very walkable community and one of the favorites for families being relocated to the Metro Area of Washington, DC
This blue Ageratum has common names of Flossflower or Mist Flower. It is an annual plant that is a member of the Aster family. This is a small plant and this one was in front of a white picket fence which is the typical fencing in Kentlands.

Birthday Lunch at Szechuan Palace in Gaithersburg
Today is Dolores' birthday and she wanted to have Chinese food for lunch. She selected Szechuan Palace, one of her favorites, as our destination. The restaurant is conveniently located in our neighborhood in the Potomac Valley Shopping Center at 12137 Darnestown Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20878.
They have an excellent selection of dishes for their Lunch Combination priced at $6.50 per order. We had their wonderful Hot & Sour soup and shared Orange Chicken (my selection) and Shrimp with Garlic Sauce (her selection), both with fried rice.

In celebration of Arab American Heritage Month, the Gaithersburg Multicultural Affairs Committee is hosting a reception at the Activity Center at Bohrer Park on Monday, April 20 from 5:45 to 7:15 p.m. The celebration includes student presentations highlighting Arab Americans who have made achievements in science, entertainment, sports and journalism. Kentlands is one of the favorite areas for Gaithersburg runners and walkers. The well lighted streets with sidewalks and pathways are hard to beat for those who are trying to get some exercise. The Kentlands Citizens Assembly has posted the following suggestions for the safety of runners in the community.

Kentlands KidServe and the K25 committee will be hosting an event on Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Kentlands Clubhouse to benefit the homeless in Gaithersburg and local families who need assistance during the holiday season.
