Really, A "Cute" Screech Owl
When we think about Screech Owls, "Cute" does not usually come to mind. This Red-Phased Screech Owl is cute enough to be a model for a stuffed animal. This young owl was in the Raptors Up Close birds of prey exhibit at Boonsboro Days in Boonsboro, MD. This is an annual event in Washington County, Maryland.
It is always a good idea to have your camera in hand for those special moments. You never know when an owl might be staring at you.
