Solitaire Court Stream Restoration Project Underway
Construction at Diamond Farms Park for the Solitaire Court Stream Restoration project is underway. The project will repair the eroded stream banks, protect underground utility pipelines, remove invasive plants, prevent stream migration onto private property, and improve functionality of a tributary to Long Draught Branch of Great Seneca Creek.
The Park’s playground and courts will be open during the 6 to 8 month construction period. Some trails through the park will not be available. Trail closure signs will be posted prior to land disturbance. While trails near the stream are closed, it is recommended that the trail … (15 comments)
