Residents 18-and-older interested in e-scooter lessons will have the opportunity to attend the last free clinic of the spring schedule sponsored by the Montgomery County Department of Transportation. The class will be from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, June 18, at Montgomery College, which is located at 850 Hungerford Drive in Rockville.
The classes will be in Parking Lot 13.
Participants can take a test ride, learn safety tips and get details on basic scooter laws. A valid driver’s license or ID is required to participate. The clinic is drop-in and no registration is required.

The Paws in the Park Dogwalk and Festival will return to Bohrer Park at Summit Hall Farm in Gaithersburg from noon-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 30. After a three-year hiatus during the COVID-19 health crisis, the Montgomery County Humane Society will hold the event for the 22nd time to raise funds to help homeless cats and dogs.
Bohrer Park is located at 506 South Frederick Ave. in Gaithersburg.

The City of Gaithersburg, Maryland will be participating in three more Rabies Clinics for Dogs and Cats during this summer season. The next clinic will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center at 7315 Muncaster Mill Road, Derwood, Maryland 20855.
