This mallard posed for me in a small Kentlands pond on Wednesday afternoon, April 6. 2011. Almost as pretty as a painting. Kentlands is a neo-traditional community in Gaithersburg, Maryland, in the suburbs of Washington, DC. I went for a long walk and took my camera to photograph early spring flowers. The mallard picture was a bonus. Always have a camera in hand to capture those special moments.
