Starting January 12012, there is a new statewide disclosure, according to CA Civil Code # 2079.10. It’s to be provided to the buyer (by either the seller or the broker). It is an energy booklet from the CEC (California Energy Commission) called “What is your Home Energy Rating”, booklet # CEC-400-2009-008-BR-REV1. It is online at http://www.energy.ca.gov/HERS/booklet.html which you can download in color or black & white.
