716 W 34th Street is coming to the 2018 Spring Market. Past years it’s made national headlines on Nightline, and The Travel Channel, among others, according to the official website. baltimore: A Rare Storefront Residence Sells in Mount Vernon - 03/31/16 05:54 AM

Hidden in plain sight in Baltimore's West Mount Vernon neighborhood stands a federal style 1806 Flemish bond brick building with a wooden storefront, at one time the site of a millinery good establishment.

The old storefront had been transformed into a living room. The separate entrance for customers was no longer used, but the display window looking out onto Eutaw St remained intact.

Upstairs the the old storekeepers residence had been renovated into the modern era with modern conveniences including central air conditioning and replacement windows - wooden frame to keep with the standards of the commission of historic and architectural preservation.

Some bedrooms had exposed … (0 comments)

baltimore: Luxury Apartments For Rent in Hampden - 11/14/15 08:17 PM
 ***UPDATE***These apartments are fully leased.

Baltimore's Hampden neighborhood has a new landmark building at 3400 Roland Ave. Newly completed and unlike anything else currently in the marketplace, if you're searching for a new luxury residence to rent in the city, you'll want this property on your radar.

The Courtyard at 3400 Roland Ave has an architectural design that takes inspiration from the adjacent Salvation Army and US Post Office buildings with a nod to the factory aesthetic you'll find along Falls Rd. The height and placement of the building takes the iconic Hampden rowhouses into consideration as a high-rise apartment building would have been … (1 comments)

baltimore: Home for Sale in Baltimore's Glen Neighborhood - 08/10/15 03:45 AM
***UPDATE*** This property has sold.

I've sold this house before. In 2013 the current owners and I searched far and wide for a great home for their family. We considered a variety of neighborhoods in Northwest + Northeast Baltimore City, and after seeing over twenty homes found 6114 Gist Ave Baltimore Maryland 21215 to be "the one".
Flash forward two years and a professional relocation to another city has made it time to sell. When I got the call to list the property I was bummed to hear my clients were leaving town, but admittedly jazzed to get the listing as I already … (1 comments)

baltimore: Roland Park Home for Sale on Deepdene Rd - 06/01/15 10:13 PM
***Update*** This property has sold

In my line of work I often sell real estate and I occasionally sell homes. There is a difference. A home is a place that evokes nostalgia, a wizard-of-oz sense of place. People long to go home. Baltimore's Roland Park neighborhood is filled with homes, and it's a place that may pull at your heartstrings.

There is a noticeable divide in the history of Roland Park houses, those built before 1891 have a antique vibe that is well illustrated in the Roland Park niche neighborhood of Evergreen which was founded in 1873. The 20th century was the Oldstead era of Roland Park, … (1 comments)

If the average homeowner moves every five to seven years, it stands to reason a primary motivator may be the need for more space. With mortgage interest rates remaining at historic lows, it remains a great time to secure a "forever home".  If you're in search of a savvy buy in the Baltimore market, look no further than 320 Rossiter Ave Baltimore, Maryland 21212.

Tucked behind Loyola University in Baltimore's Radnor Winston neighborhood, you'll find a darling c.1927 craftsman home awaiting its new owners. It's a sensational home and it won't last long.....

In the past few years this home has been improved, making it a turn-key home. It was a fixer upper when current owners aquired it. While the interior … (0 comments)

baltimore: Enough with the Broker Bingo! - 03/27/15 10:57 PM

What does luxury real estate and the game of bingo have in common?
Nothing.
So why are top producing agents marketing your home this way?

1985 called, they want their advertisements back.

The way real estate is bought and sold has radically changed in the past ten years.

So why do these advertisements still all look the same?

Enough with the broker bingo.

Happy New Year 2015! As the data and statistics roll in for 2014 residential real estate sales, the Baltimore City neighborhood I find myself tracking the closest is Hampden. In 2013 the average sold price was $185,000, in 2014 that price jumped to $204,000.

baltimore: Charles Village Fall 2014 Grand Residence Report - 09/23/14 04:27 AM

Baltimore's Charles Village neighborhood is a goldmine for single family buyers seeking affordable luxury with significant historical details. It is also a preferred location for multifamily investors seeking rentals that cater to the Johns Hopkins Community.  Once you hit $300,000 and above in Charles Village you're shopping what I call the "Grand Residence".
Charles Village Grand Residence properties typically feature 5 bedrooms over an average 2,900 +/- sq. feet. They are usually built between 1895-1910 as Victorian-era attached rowhouses. These handsome homes have hardwood floors, stained glass transoms, ornate plaster, and high ceilings. It's not uncommon for an owner to … (0 comments)
