Northville Michigan is a great upscale community in Western Wayne County. With a great school system, and easy access to freeways makes Northville a place to look into when researching where to live in the Metro Detroit area. What is nice about Northville is that it has a central downtown that is still vibrant. With uniques stores and locally owned restaurants downtown Northville is a destination for both the local residents and the surronding cities. Here is a short video of downtown Northville. George's Senate Coney Island is a little gem stuck off the main road that many people just drive by and never even realize it is there. The one crowd that eats at George's quite a bit are the retirees that live in the County Club Village Condos of Northville. Georges is north of 5 mile and on the west side of Haggerty. It used to be the old Bushwood and is right next to the little golf course there.

Looking for something other than just dinner then check out one of Northville restaurants Genitti's Hole in the wall. Genitti'sis a dinner theatre and restaurant combination. Upscale Italian it's not but it is a great time for a group of friends, or family. It is solid down home good Italian food.
The Genitti's family has been in Northville since 1971. They originally started out as a meat and grocery store. Then in late 1979, expanded their store into a restaurant. If you are looking for a good Northville restaurant Tirami Su is a good Italian restaurant. Owned by Guiseppe D'Anna has three Italian restaurants in Oakland County. It is upscale Italian dining without the high price.
Joe's recipes are made from scratch and his reasonable prices bring the customers in and keep them coming back. Huge selection of wine. Fresh food ,everything is made to order. There are 16 individual pizzas, baked in a stone wood-fired oven, and with prices hovering around $6 are quite the deal. Table clothes and the fireplace add to the ambience.
Located on the west side of Haggerty Rd just south of Six Mile in Northville MI. George's Senate Coney Islandis a reasonably priced restaurant for the family.
