I get the question of should I do a radon test when I am doing a home inspection quite often.  I believe that you should do the test for radon if you can afford it.  One in eight
homes have radon.  You can get cancer from radon gas.  Would you expose your children or your family to something that would cause cancer?  Of course not.  That is why I recommend to get a radon test done.  It is like an insurance policy.  Costly but worth the cost if the house has radon.
