During 2007, members of NWMLS: Reported more than 82,000 closed sales, valued at more than $33 billion. Maintained a high ratio of cross-sales: nearly eight of every 10 transactions (79 percent) were listed by one office and sold by a different office. Added "green features" to the database, enabling searches for properties with environmental certifications, energy efficient features and sustainable materials. Reported an area-wide median price of $342,000 for single-family homes that sold last year, up 5.9 percent from 2006. The house was just built and everything is new. The house has just passed codes and building inspections. However... NO HOME IS PERFECT! Not even a new home!
