Realty Times has our market listed as a Buyer's Market today. Let me tell you that is not the case. Short sales, foreclosures, regular sales, if they are priced correctly are getting multiple offers above list. Yes, you read that correctly....MULTIPLE OFFERS above list. How do I know this? By being both a listing agent and selling agent, I have the bird's eye view of what is out there. I know that if a property has good bones, has a decent price and is in a fair area of Sherburne County, it will sell quickly. That is the key....correct pricing to (40 comments)

There was a lot of really bad news that I didn't want to focus on this week. The missing Zimmerman man was found, deceased. But this story was good enough to print. Used tennis shoes are being collected by Women of Today The Elk River Area Women of Today will be collecting used tennis shoes, in any condition, for reuse and recycling for the organization Green Sneakers (www.greensneakers.org). The drop-off site for donations is at Payless Shoe Source, 19134 Freeport St., Elk River. Each pair of tennis shoes should be placed in a plastic bag with the shoelaces tied together. zimmerman minnesota: Sherburne County Waives Fees for Compost Usage for 2011

Good news for a change. Sherburne County residents will not be required to buy a permit to use the compost sites located in Zimmerman, Elk River, Big Lake and Becker this year. As of May 2, 2011, commercial users and non-residents will be required to purchase a permit which is$50 for a non-resident and $200 (per vehicle) for a commercial user. Permits can be purchase at the respective city offices during normal business hours. zimmerman minnesota: Zimmerman BMX Rider to Head to Alaska!

Former Zimmerman BMX biker, James Rienstra, will begin his long haul from Zimmerman, Minnesota to Anchorage, Alaska a 3,300-mile bicycle trek on Friday, May 20. He is doing this for charity and the money raised will go to the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund because of Shaver's cancer struggles and because Rienstra wants the money to stay in Minnesota. He is honoring his father who died of pancreatic cancer five years ago. He hopes to raise at least $10,000 and much, much more.
