Continuing with my mountain theme for the week I thought I would venture to a hiker’s favorite, Cowles Mountain. Located within Mission Trails Park in an area of East San Diego County known as San Carlos, Cowles Mountain has an elevation of 1,592 feet. It is actually the highest point in San Diego County. Its main hiking trail is one of the most popular in the area and offers a 360 degree view. Okay. I admit it. I have been watching more of Bravo TV’s reality show, Million Dollar Listing. Madison, one of the featured real estate agents on the show focuses most of his attention in Malibu, California. Today was such a busy day I can’t even remember everything I did. I got up early, went full force all day long, and now I am in writing mode. I know you can relate. I love San Diego’s Ocean Beach area, known as OB to locals. My friend and I went there for dinner last night. My dog was able to join us, because OB has so many outdoor dining areas that allow canine companions. Not only are there a number of restaurants with outdoor dining, but Ocean Beach is an overall dog friendly area. We opted for a spot on Abbot with a view of the water. It was overcast, which I love!
